Shocker Women Win Air Force Invite, Men Place Third

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Wichita State track and field program set eight Shocker all-time top-10 marks, while the women's team won the Air Force Invitational Saturday afternoon at the Cadet Fieldhouse.

The Shocker women's team won the Air Force Invitational with 141 points, 46 points ahead of second place Long Beach State University. Kelsey Slawson and Amiya Anoma led the Shocker women to individual event titles on day three of the event. Slawson won the shot put with a mark of 15.44m/50-8. Anoma won the triple jump with a mark of 12.
