CHICAGO – DePaul outscored Wichita State by 24 in the second half, erasing a five-point halftime deficit in a 91-72 win at Wintrust Arena Saturday afternoon.
Wichita State (8-2) had won nine straight games when leading at the half. The Shockers dropped to 20-7 under when holding a halftime lead.
DePaul entered the game as one of the nation's top three-point shooting teams, and they proved it Saturday. The Blue Demons connected on 17-of-33 attempts, good for 52 percent. The 17 made three-pointers were the most by an opponent since Memphis hit 19 back in January.
