Almost three hours of basketball against a Big Ten opponent is just what Wichita State needed with its exhibition opener three days away.
"Nothing really surprised me," Wichita State coach Gregg Marshall said. "Now I'm going to be able to break this film down, against another team, and show them the things we've been deficient in and how they can improve."
Nebraska and Wichita State practiced on Saturday at the Aetna Multi-Purpose Center in a closed scrimmage meant to give both teams a look at a new opponent and lessons with officials and a clock.
