No. 23 Wichita State defeated No. 2 Oklahoma State 8-7 at Wilkins Stadium on Tuesday, the highest-ranked opponent knocked off by the Shockers in program history.
"I've dreamed at playing at this level," freshman right fielder Taylor Sedlacek said. "It's honestly pretty insane. These are the games you watch growing up."
Wichita State (31-7) needed a start and a save from junior Lauren Howell, who retired OSU (32-3) with three flyballs in the seventh.
