Yared Kidane ran many races and won several of them in 2023-24, but none wearing the Wichita State uniform.
On Saturday, that changes and it is the moment he has been waiting for over the past year.
"When I was in junior college, I was so excited to run DI (Division 1)," he said. "That's going to happen Saturday, so I'm excited to help out Wichita State and run a DI race."
