Record Season Nets Foster 5-Year Extension

WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State interim athletic director, Darron Boatright announced Tuesday that head women's tennis coach, Colin Foster has agreed to a five-year contract extension through the end of the 2020-21 season.

Foster, 31, led the Shockers to a 27-4 mark in 2015-16, tying a school record for dual wins in a season. Under his guidance, WSU climbed as high as No. 13 in the national rankings (a program-best) and earned its best-ever seed in NCAA Regional play.

"Colin's record speaks for itself," Boatright said. "We're proud of the championship-level program that he has built here and even more pleased with the way he's gone about it, with high-character kids who represent our university well on and off the court.
