Wichita State's Craig Porter Jr. is used to collecting stats, but not necessarily accolades.
The versatile junior managed to do both this past week, parlaying two all-around performances into his first-ever appearance on the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll.
Porter – a 6-foot-2 point guard from Terre Haute, Ind. -- had game-highs seven rebounds and six assists in WSU's Saturday win over South Florida. For the week, he averaged 12.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 2.5 steals over two games. He was 8-of-14 from the field, including 4-of-5 from three.
Porter is averaging 6.
