WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State's Brock Polhill was named American Men's Golf Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
It's the first such award for Polhill and the third of the season for the Shockers, after Dawson Lewis and Lucas Scheufler shared the honor on March 23.
Polhill finished second at the MU Tiger Invitational on Tuesday, the best performance of his career. He helped the Shockers to a runner-up team finish at The Club at Old Hawthorne, their best outing of the 2022 season. Polhill (67-68-69u2060—204) ended the tournament just one stroke back of Missouri's Jack Parker, who held on for the win with a par on 18 while Polhill carded a five.
