CHANDLER, Ariz.- Freshman Brock Polhill hit the ground running in the first two rounds of the Wyoming Cowboy Classic on Monday.
Polhill compiled a new career low 18-hole score with a 68 in the first round, with his 4-under par finish moving him in a tie for 15th place heading into the final round. The Edmond, Okla., native collected nine birdies on the day and marked the second consecutive tournament where a member of the Wichita State men's golf team shot under 70, with Zac Owens coming up with a 69 at the Furman Intercollegiate.
