PALM HARBOR, Fla. – Wichita State's Brock Polhill is tied for 15th after two rounds of the inaugural Intercollegiate at Innisbrook.
The Shockers finished day one in ninth-place in a loaded 16-team field that includes four nationally-ranked squads. WSU (295-290 – 585) is currently one stroke ahead of No. 16 UCF.
Polhill is coming off a career-best finish at the Herb Wimberly Invitational two weeks ago when he tied for 28th. He's on pace to top that this week. Powered by four birdies, the sophomore shot a 1-under, 70 in the second round to finish the day at +1.
