LAWRENCE, Kan. – Wichita State freshman Josh Parrish won the 60-meter hurdles and long jump, earning the High Point Award at the KU-KSU-WSU Triangular Friday at Anschutz Pavilion.
Wichita State placed third as a team with 190.5 points, while Kansas claimed the team title with 245.5 points, and Kansas State finished second with 228 points.
Parrish ran the sixth-fastest 60-meter hurdles time in Shocker history, clocking a 7.90 to win the event and break the meet record, edging out Jaleel Montgomery, who ran 7.93, the seventh-fastest time in school history.
