LAWRENCE, Kan. – On the final day of the Kansas Relays, Brady Palen improved his NCAA rank with the sixth-highest high jump clearance in the nation this season to win the event.
After the weather conditions forced the high jump to be contested indoors, Palen cleared an outdoor personal-best 2.19m/7'2.25", defeating Kansas's No. 17-ranked high jumper, Devin Loudermilk.
"Brady Palen had a terrific high jump today and won against a strong field," head coach Steve Rainbolt said. "I was really happy for him for such a terrific competitive effort.
