The senior from Beloit, Kan. jumped an outdoor personal best that put him position to qualify to the NCAA West Preliminaries, winning the meet with the first-attempt clearance. Also in Fayetteville, and cleared 1.66m/5'5.25" to place third and fourth, respectively, in the high jump.
