SHREVEPORT, La. – Wichita State's Zac Owens and Joe Bultman both claimed top-20 finishes at the David Toms Intercollegiate.
WSU collectively shot 4-under for the weekend and finished seventh out of 12 teams at Southern Trace Country Club.
It was Shockers' best 54-hole performance, relative to par, since March of 2016 when they finished 7-under at the Desert Shootout.
Owens (73-69-70 – 212) fired a 2-under, 70 in Sunday's final round to finish 4-under for the weekend and tied for 16th-place on the leaderboard. It was the best individual finish by a Shocker this year and the fourth top-20 performance of Owens' career.
