Omaha’s Isaiah Poor Bear Chandler, a 6-foot-9 center, committed to Wichita State on Sunday, according to the Omaha World-Herald.
Chandler is a senior at Omaha Central. He is ranked a four-star recruit by ESPN and No. 1 in Nebraska. He averaged 14.2 points and 9.4 rebounds as senior, according to the World-Herald.
“Committing to Wichita State is a blessing,” Chandler told the World-Herald. “The campus is beautiful and I love the intensity that Coach (Gregg) Marshall instills in his players.”
Chandler signed with New Mexico in November. He was released from his commitment, following a coaching change, in April.
