Women's tennis advanced to the quarterfinals of the AAC Championship before losing 4-3 to eventual champion Charlotte. The Shockers finished the spring No. 8 in the Central Region, their highest spot since fourth in 2018.
Freshman Xin Tong Wang, who went 12-7 at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, earned All-AAC honors, the first for a Shocker since Fatima Bizhukova in 2019.
Nationally, the Shockers ended their season ranked No. 73, although they dropped out of the final rankings after NCAA play concluded.
Six AAC schools finished the season in the top 75.
