No. 75/67 Wichita State Routs Ranked Tulsa on the Road

TULSA, Okla. – Three individual wins over ranked Tulsa opponents powered the No. 75/67 Wichita State women's tennis team to a 4-1 victory over the No. 58/53 Golden Hurricane on Tuesday evening at Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

The Shockers (6-5) have now won back-to-back matches and five of their last six. Tulsa (10-4) saw their two-match win streak break at the hands of WSU.

The win for the Shockers was their first against Tulsa in Tulsa since April 5, 2017. WSU had lost the last three to the Golden Hurricane on the road.

In doubles, the Shockers faced a tall task as Tulsa touts a ranked doubles pairings at each of the top two doubles courts.
