LAS VEGAS – The No. 75 Wichita State men's tennis team fell to the UNLV Rebels 4-2 on Monday afternoon at Fertitta Tennis Center.
The Shockers (8-9) saw their three-match winning streak end with the defeat.
In doubles, the Shockers would take the point with a 6-2 win by and at court three and clinched the point with a 6-4 win by and at court two.
Needing three points to take the match, things started well for the Shockers as they took the first set on four of six singles courts and picked up a swift 6-2, 6-0 win at court six, putting WSU up 2-0 in the match.
