NEW ORLEANS – The No. 67 ranked Wichita State women's tennis team picked up a statement 4-1 win over the No. 66 Princeton Tigers on Friday afternoon at City Park Tennis Center.
The Shockers (8-6) have now won back-to-back matches and four of their last five, while Princeton (7-7) saw their losing streak extend to three matches with the loss.
"It was a really solid team win today," Head Coach said. "Our energy was great on all courts today."
In doubles, each side secured a 6-1 win to open play with WSU's and winning at court one and and falling at court three, sending doubles to be decided at court three.
