MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The 58th ranked Wichita State women's tennis team fell short against the 46th ranked Memphis Tigers on Easter Sunday at Leftwich Tennis Center, 4-2.
The Shockers (10-7) have now lost three in a row, while Memphis (14-6) wins their fifth straight.
"We had a really good response to a disappointing day yesterday," Head Coach Colin Foster said. "We responded with a very consistent and competitive effort and came up just short against an NCAA tournament level team on their courts."
The Shockers took doubles in swift fashion from the Tigers with wins at courts one and two.
