WICHITA, Kan. – No. 48 Wichita State got a quick 4-0 shutout victory over the University of the Pacific Tigers in their first match of the Pacific Central Valley Championship at the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center in Fresno, California on Saturday. WSU has now won six of their last seven matches.
The Shockers will be back in action this afternoon as they will take on the winner of the Hawaii versus San Francisco match at 4 p.m. in the semifinals.
This match was a little different than others as singles was played first in order to save time for the later scheduled matches throughout the day.
