Track and field's Destiny Masters packed a lot of honors into five months.
"I couldn't be more proud of Destiny's season," coach Steve Rainbolt said. "A college season is incredibly long and incredibly demanding and as a multi-event athlete, she has done a tremendous amount between the indoor season, the outdoor season and the postseason."
She started in late February by scoring 21 points in the AAC Indoor Championships to earn MVP honors, highlighted by first in the high jump and second in the pentathlon. In early March, she scored 4,338 points to place sixth and earn All-American honors in the NCAA Indoor Championships.
