AZUSA, Calif. – Wichita State junior Lucy Ndungu ran the fastest 10,000 meters in the American Athletic Conference this season, clocking a 33:41.31 to finish fifth in her section Thursday night at the Bryan Clay Invitational.
The distance runner from St. Louis, Mo. ran the No. 47 time in the nation and the 16th-fastest time in the NCAA West Region, ranking fourth all-time in Shocker history.
In the 3,000-meter steeplechase, Miranda Dick ran 11:08.62 to finish 70th in the open race.
On Friday, Farrah Miller ran her outdoor 800 meters opener, recording the third-fastest time in Shocker history (2:07.
