WICHITA, Kan. – Multiple Shockers claim individual titles on day three of the K.T. Woodman Classic, Friday night at Cessna Stadium.
Just one day after sweeping the multi-event competition, Wichita State continued its dominance of the K.T. Woodman Classic winning seven individual events Friday night.
The Shocker women's team ran away from the field taking the top spot in four running events and the javelin. Kendra Henry added to her K.T. Woodman Classic resume, winning the women's javelin with a throw of 45.09m/147-11, just a day after winning the women's heptathlon.
Kirk Hunter's distance group blew away the competition winning the 1500m, 3000m steeplechase, 5000m and 10,000m races.
