Morris and McDuffie to return 2017-2018 season

Shaquille Morris and Markis McDuffie will both be returning to Wichita State for the 2017-2018 season after withdrawing from the 2017 NBA Draft.

Both players went into the draft without hiring an agent, which allowed them to withdraw from the NBA Draft by the Wednesday deadline without losing their NCAA eligibility.

By not signing with an agent, both Morris and McDuffie were able to attend NBA workouts, allowing them to hear feedback from NBA prospects.

McDuffie attended the Toronto Raptor’s practice on Monday, and reportedly withdrew from the draft on Tuesday.

After withdrawing, McDuffie tweeted Tuesday afternoon:

“After much thought and consideration, I’ve decided to return and continue my college basketball career at Wichita State University.
