WICHITA, Kan. -- lined a walk-off single with two outs in the bottom of the ninth as Wichita State completed a three-game sweep over Missouri State with a wild 9-8 win on Sunday afternoon at Eck Stadium.
It was a game of momentum swings, as the Shockers (6-9) took a 4-0 lead after one inning, allowed seven unanswered runs, rallied to take the lead again, and allowed a game-tying homer in the ninth before finally walking it off in the home half of the inning.
Wichita State pounced early against Missouri State starter Tyler Charlton, hanging four runs on the board in the bottom of the first.
