PROVIDENCE, R.I. – No. 3 Miami held off a furious rally that saw No. 11 Wichita State erase a 21-point deficit to defeat the Shockers, 65-57, in the second round of the NCAA Tournament Saturday afternoon at the Dunkin' Donuts Center.
Wichita State (26-9) saw its 2016 NCAA Tournament come to an end after two victories, while Miami (27-7) punched its ticket to the Sweet 16 where it will meet the winner of No. 7 Iowa and No. 2 Villanova in Louisville.
