BERTHOUD, Colo. - The Wichita State men's golf team turned in their best round of the tournament on Wednesday, surging three spots up the leaderboard to finish alone in sixth place at the TPC Colorado at Heron Lakes.
The Shockers finished with a team score of 35-over--899, posting scores of 307, 299, and 293.
Wichita State ended the first round on Monday at the bottom of the leaderboard, but rolled past Air Force on Tuesday and used a strong final round to eclipse St. Thomas, host Denver and Northern Colorado. #16 ranked Colorado State held off BYU for the team title, shooting 12-under 852.
