PITTSBURG, Kan. – Taniyah McMillian recorded the second fastest indoor 200m time in Wichita State history winning the event with a time of 24.40 at the Fourth Annual Gorilla Classic.
Taniyah McMillian, a redshirt freshman from Oklahoma City, won section 11 of the women's 200m with a personal best time of 24.40. In 15 sections with 84 total runners, McMillian's time was fast enough to win the event.
McMillian's time of 24.40 is the second fastest 200m in Shocker history, passing Taylor Larch-Miller's 2017 time of 24.46. She was the only Shocker to win an individual event on day one of the Fourth Annual Gorilla Classic.
