WICHITA, Kan. – Codey McElroy has been named the Volunteer Assistant Coach for the Wichita State baseball program, Head Coach Todd Butler announced Dec. 9.
"We are excited to announce Codey McElroy as our volunteer assistant for the Shockers in 2017," Butler said. "Codey played baseball at the University of Texas under legendary coach Augie Garrido and basketball at Oklahoma State under Travis Ford. His knowledge and experience in college baseball and basketball and professional baseball with the Atlanta Braves will enhance our players development on and off the field.
