WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State senior guard Mariah McCully was named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the second time this season, it was announced Monday afternoon.
The Grand Rapids, Mich., native averaged 11.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in Wichita State's two games last week. McCully scored 10 points and grabbed six rebounds at ECU and followed that with a 13-point, 6-rebound, 4-assist outing vs. SMU to help snap a four-game losing streak. McCully's 13 games with 10 or more points lead the team this season.
This is McCully's second weekly honor of the season, while Jane Asinde and Asia Strong also have multiple honors.
