EUGENE, Ore. – Wichita State's Destiny Masters earned her fourth and fifth career All-America honors with her top-16 performances in the high jump and heptathlon on the final day of the NCAA Outdoor Championships at Hayward Field.
The junior from El Dorado, Kan. cleared 1.77m/5'9.75" to tie for 15th in the high jump in between the sixth and seventh events of the heptathlon. Masters is now the only high jumper in Shocker history to claim two outdoor All-America awards, earning Second Team status for the second-straight year.
After a strong day one in the heptathlon, Masters held on to end up 13th overall on day two, claiming her second Second Team All-America honor of the day.
