WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita State women's basketball team held a high-scoring Louisiana Tech team to just 56 points, cruising to a 14-point win at Charles Koch Arena on Saturday night.
Sabrina Lozada Cabbage obtained her first double-double of the season with 16 points and 16 rebounds - also dishing out five assists - while Raven Prince came up with 14 points and six rebounds. Dawnyel Lair scored a career-high 12 points and Carla Bremaud added 11 points with a trio of 3-pointers.
After Wichita State started the first quarter on a 6-0 run, a three pointer from Jada Peacock and a basket while drawing the foul from Seraphine Bastin allowed the Shockers to take a seven-point lead nearing the end of the first quarter.
