WICHITA, Kan. - Getting a lift from Sabrina Lozada-Cabbage's career high 21 points, Wichita State cruised to a 76-39 victory in its season opener against Arkansas-Pine Bluff at Charles Koch Arena on Wednesday night.
Alyssia Faye led the Shockers in rebounding with eight, while Lozada-Cabbage snagged six boards. Jada Peacock added 11 points and Serephine Bastin came up with five assists while grabbing four rebounds and scoring nine points in her collegiate debut.
The Shockers started the first quarter with a 12-0 scoring run, capped off by a 3-pointer by Lozada-Cabbage.
