WICHITA, Kan. - Sabrina Lozada-Cabbage and Carla Bremaud combined for 35 of the team's 58 points, but Wichita State dropped its fifth straight game, falling 66-58 to Houston Sunday afternoon in Charles Koch Arena.
Lozada-Cabbage led the Shockers with 18 points and grabbed four rebounds, while Bremaud was one point away from tying her career-high. The freshman guard scored 17 points, scoring 15 of those points in the second half.
Wichita State took early control by taking a five-point lead through the first five minutes, holding Houston to 25 percent shooting and three turnovers.
