TULSA, Okla. -- Natsumi Kurahashi went unbeaten in singles play to pace the Wichita State women's tennis team at this weekend's Tulsa Invitational.
Kurahashi (3-0) was one of four Shockers who participated in the unbracketed event against players from Tulsa, Arkansas, Northern Arizona and Louisiana Tech.
Freshman Kristina Kudryavtseva went 2-1 in both singles and doubles while playing alongside Harriet Hamilton.
This was the team's first school-sponsored action of the fall season and the first matches to count toward ITA records and rankings.
