MADISON, Wis. – The Wichita State cross country program traveled north to compete in the 2018 Wisconsin Pre-Nationals on Saturday.

Winny Koskei highlighted the day for the program finishing 11th overall in the women's Cardinal 6K race with a personal best time of 20:28.9. In a field of 234 athletes from 35 teams, the sophomore led the Shockers to a 19th place victory.
Rebekah Topham was the only other Shocker that finished in the top-40. The redshirt junior ran 21:00.2 to place 38th. Yazmine Wright, Rita Schnacker and Winnie Kibet rounded out the scoring for the Shockers.
