WICHITA, Kan. – Shockers Ben Johnson and Sydney Wilson lead the multi-event competitions after day one action of the K.T. Woodman Classic at Cessna Stadium.
Sydney Wilson won three of the four day one events to finish the day in the lead with 3,195 points. The redshirt sophomore won the 100m hurdles, high jump and 200m, while finishing third in the shot put.
Wilson's day started with running a 14.39 in the 100m hurdles, a personal best time. She carried her momentum into the high jump claiming her second event title of the day with a clearance of 1.
