WICHITA, Kan. – Ben Johnson set two personal bests to lead the Shocker Multi at the end of day one in the Heskett Center.
After finishing second in the first two events, redshirt senior Ben Johnson won the last two events to take a commanding lead with 3,157 points at the end of day one.
Johnson started the day running a personal best 60m in 7.13 to finish second behind Noah Myers of Friends University. Johnson gained the overall lead after winning the shot put with a personal best mark of 15.
