WICHITA – Tre'Zure Jobe was crowned the American Athletic Conference Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
The redshirt-senior from Wichita, Kan. played all 40 minutes, putting up 21 points and a career-high eight assists in the Shockers' conference-opener win over Tulane.
Jobe scored Wichita State's final eight points in the last 1:41 of action to hold off the Green Wave.
She tallied five rebounds and two steals and led the team in assists for the seventh time this season.
Jobe and the Shockers head to Texas for two more conference matchups at Rice and UTSA starting Jan.
