AWENDAW, S.C. -- The Wichita State men's golf team joins the field for one of collegiate golf's premier tournaments – the Hootie at Bulls Bay – Sunday through Tuesday at Bulls Bay Golf Club near Charleston, S.C.
Now in its 16th year, the event is co-hosted by South Carolina, the College of Charleston and – yes – the Hootie and the Blowfish Foundation.
The Shockers have posted top-2 finishes at each of their first two events but will get a major test this weekend. The field of 16 includes 11 schools that qualified for NCAA regional play in 2019.
