Hunter Gibson Signs With Wichita State

WICHITA, Kan. – Hunter Gibson, a catcher from Oologah, Okla., has signed an Institutional Letter of Intent with Wichita State in the spring signing period, Head Coach Todd Butler announced on April 25.

"We are excited to announce the signing of Hunter Gibson for the 2017-18 season," Butler said. "He is a two-sport athlete with winning credentials in both football and baseball. We look forward to his development both on the field and in the classroom."

Gibson, a 6-foot-3 catcher from Oologah, Okla., is halfway through his senior season at Oologah-Talala High School and is hitting .
