WICHITA—The Wichita State track and field teams saw one of the nation's best performances among other impressive marks and times at the Herm Wilson Invitational on Friday inside the Heskett Center.
Joseph Holthusen ran a time of 7.79 in the 60-meter hurdles' final. His time ranks No. 5 in the NCAA as of Friday. Holthusen's time set the Heskett Center facility record.
Holthusen already owned the second-best time in Wichita State history with 7.84. He improved upon his time and his performance still sits at second-best in school history.
Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Steve Rainbolt said the Herm Wilson Invitational saw good performances all over the track.
