Freshman guard Ty Taylor is transferring from Wichita State, he said on Thursday.
“No hard feelings on either side,” he said. “I’m leaving on good terms.”
Taylor said he will continue playing basketball and is looking at a few options for a new school.
“Nothing’s really set in stone,” he said. “I’ll probably have a better picture next week.”
Taylor, from Kansas City, played in 19 games for the Shockers and averaged 3.1 points and 7.9 minutes. He scored a season-high 10 points against Charleston Southern.
“I’d like to thank this outstanding program for contributing to my growth and development,” he said on his Twitter account.
