Freshman Chance Moore is no longer a member of the Wichita State men’s basketball team and is seeking a transfer, the program announced on Monday.
Moore, a 6-foot-7 wing from Louisville, Ky., came to WSU billed as a player who might be able to help a Shockers offense that entered the season with many question marks on who would handle the scoring. But Moore never gained traction, appearing in just four games for 20 minutes and scoring three points in his brief WSU career.
The beginning of the end for Moore’s time at WSU appeared to begin in early December.
