Former Wichita State guard Toure' Murry has agreed to a training camp contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves, multiple media outlets reported Wednesday.
Murry, 27, played for Minnesota's NBA Summer League team last month in Las Vegas and performed well enough to earn a more formal October audition with the club. Murry joins Ron Baker (New York) and Fred VanVleet (Toronto) on the list of former Shockers who will appear on preseason rosters.
The Timberwolves kick off their seven-game preseason exhibition schedule Oct. 8 at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo. against the Miami Heat.
