PHOENIX- After coming up with two under 70 performances, senior Yannik Emmert is in second place after the first two rounds of the GCU Invitational.
Emmert shot four-under par in the first round, claiming a season-low 18-hole score of 67. He followed up in the second round with a three-under par performance, coming up with a 68. This is the first time since 2017 where Emmert has come up with two scores under 70 in his career, with that accomplishment giving him the Pro Compression Invitational title.
The senior started the first round shooting for par in 10 of his first 12 holes while coming up with two birdies to be placed in a tie for third.
