PALM HARBOR, Fla. - Senior Yannik Emmert closed out his career in the top 10 at the American Athletic Conference Championship on Tuesday.
Emmert finished ninth after compiling a 54-hole score of 215, giving him his fourth top 10 finish of the season. Emmert's ninth place finish marks the 10th time in the last 11 years where a Wichita State golfer finished in the top 10 at the conference championship. Wichita State last had a golfer in the top 10 at the conference championship in 2017, where Emmert, Grant Bennett, Conrad Walcher and Jacob Bishop each finished in the top 10 to help the Shockers to their last Missouri Valley Conference Championship.
