WICHITA—The Wichita State track and field teams wrapped up the WSU Invitational and Winny Koskei ran in the 5,000 meters at the UW Invitational on Friday.
The second day of the men's heptathlon kicked off the day's action in the Heskett Center.
Clay Eckert had an outstanding second day. He used wins in the pole vault and 1,000 meters to finish with a personal-best mark of 4,866 points. Eckert earned the same amount of points as the winner Nate Vann (who competed unattached), but Vann won on a tiebreaker.
