PITTSBURG, Kan. – The Wichita State distance team set 11 personal bests and four Shocker all-time top-10 marks at the Pitt State Invitational Saturday.
Wichita State entered 26 athletes to compete in mid-distance and distance races at the Pitt State Invitational. 11 athletes ran away with personal bests marks, including four Shockers recording all-time top-10 marks in their respective events.
Rebekah Topham highlighted the day winning the 3000m with a time of 9:26.76, setting a Robert W. Plaster Center – Harvey Dean Track facility record. Teammate Winny Koskei followed in second with a personal best time of 9:30.
